About The Project

Tehran Metro Line 9, approximately 52 km long, begins in the southeast of Tehran in the Dolat Abad area in District 20 and extends north, west, and south, ending in the vicinity of Chitgar Metro Station on Line 5 in District 22.

This line starts from Chitgar Metro Station on Line 5 of Tehran Metro (Sadeghieh - Karaj and Golshahr) and enters Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani Highway by passing through Koohak Boulevard in District 22 and intersects with Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani Metro Station on Line 10 of Tehran Metro on the southwest side of the intersection of Shahid Hemmat Highway and Mahdavi Kani Highway and enters Shahid Hemmat Highway while moving east. It intersects with Shahid Hemmat Highway at Shahran Metro Station (under construction) from the northern part of Line 6 of Tehran Metro and crosses the intersection of the western extension of Line 4 of Tehran Metro at Chaharbagh Metro Station (under construction) at the intersection of the southern side of Hemmat Highway and north of Chaharbagh Jannat Abad Square through Park Street located on the eastern side of Poonak Neighborhood and Hamila Boulevard towards Nahj al-Balagha Park and through Ivanak Boulevard in Shahrak Gharb Neighborhood by passing through the western part of Line 7 of Tehran Metro at the intersection of Meydan Sanat Metro Station, Iran Zamin Boulevard and Molla Sadra Street and passing through Vanak Square and enters Shahid Haqqani Highway. And by crossing the intersection of Shahid Haqqani Metro Station located on Line 1 of Tehran Metro, it will enter Kosha Street in Ketabhi Neighborhood and by constructing three stations at Jawaban Square, the intersection of Pasdaran and Shahid Gol Nabi Streets, Farrokhi Yazdi Street in Zarabkhaneh Neighborhood, it will cross Tehran Metro Line 3 at Shahid Zeineddin Metro Station and on the southern side of Shahid Zeineddin Highway, by constructing two stations at Mellat Square in the North Majidieh Neighborhood and the end of Shahid Kord Street on the western side of Imam Ali Highway.
